Getting My Facts Straight! – February Fact Fluency Challenge

Thank you for participating in the Getting My Facts Straight Challenge!

As educators, we know that continued success in higher-level mathematics is dependent upon the student’s ability to master basic math facts. If they know their basic math facts well, they are less likely to get lost as math problems become more complex. Have fun challenging your students to build their accuracy and speed through engaging Learning Link math games as they participate in the Connected Class Getting My Facts Straight Challenge! This quick four-week challenge is simple to implement with the whole class or just part of the class.  Last year, classes that participated in the basic fact challenges saw an average of 22% learning gains in just four weeks!!

*If you do not have a Connected Class membership, you can register your class for this challenge with a free, 30-day trial membership.  Please note, challenge participants with a trial membership are not eligible to participate in the virtual drawing for the class reward.

Challenge Dates: February 6 – March 3, 2023

Target Participants: Any teacher that has at least one student who needs to work on basic math facts.

Reward: Connected Class will hold a virtual drawing on Friday, March 24, 2023, for the February challenge participants with a Connected Class membership. One class will win a pizza party and each student in that class will receive a set of Connected Class playing cards.
