If all your students love word problems, then this webinar series is not for you! However, if you have students who struggle with understanding what the word problem is asking, knowing which operation(s) to use, and choosing the right strategy to tackle the word problem, then the Word Problem Detective Series is just right for you! Each webinar is a stand-alone so attend one or all four!

Locating Clues and Gathering Evidence: Do you have students who need practice gathering key information from word problems? During this 30-minute session participants will explore Locating Clues and Gathering Evidence Learning Link activity along with resources to help students get a deeper understanding of what is being asked during a word problem. Students get to be junior detectives on a mission to find clues to help them answer the question being asked in a word problem. They will use the Investigation Questionnaire to help solve the mystery.
