Join us on a virtual Deep Dive to gain a greater understanding of your current student performance and overall achievement of your campus over time. This year’s Instructional Leadership Institute is different than in years past. There will be one data day assigned to each assessment to allow for additional instruction on how to best analyze performance for that particular norm-reference assessment. For example: Terra Nova is scheduled for June 8th. Only schools that take the Terra Nova will attend that day. This will allow more time to show you different ways of analyzing that assessment at a deeper level.
During the week of June 13th, there will be two additional days for math and another two days for ELA. Those dates are for everyone to attend. During that time, your team will DIVE:
Data analysis review
Instructional goal setting
Vision for implementing instructional strategies and engaging families
Establish action steps to reach SMART goal(s)
We encourage schools to bring a team. If you are interested in attending, talk with your administrators to see who else may be interested in attending. You will have one day to analyze both math and ELA. It would be wise to bring one teacher per grade level for math and one for ELA. I will be offering a 30-minute webinar for each assessment to highlight what data you need to have access to for that day and for you to ask any questions. If you cannot attend the information webinar, then you will be emailed a recording of the session. Please sign-up for the webinar so we know to send you the recording.
This institute will require you to register a minimum of three times, possibly four if you want to attend both math and ELA.

If your school takes more than one assessment, then you can come to two data days. For Example: Terra Nova and MAP
Registration:
- To register for this institute, go to ConnectedClass.com. Log in using your school email address. If you forgot your password, then reset it by using the “Lost your password” button. You will register using the Event button in the top menu bar. Click on the dates of each event and follow the prompts. The system will send you a confirmation email.
- You may also register for the informational webinar, data days, and DIVE sessions by simply clicking the links in the table for each session. Remember, you must be logged into your Connected Class account to RSVP for the sessions.

Benefits:
- Eligible teachers get paid $25.00/hour for attendance. Caps may be placed based on funding sources; therefore, register early. The district will let you know before the session if you are able to receive payment. (Webinar attendance is unpaid.)
