Option 2

This page contains everything you need to successfully complete this four-week Learning Link Challenge, including instructions, resources, forms, and weekly materials. 

We encourage you to bookmark this page so you can easily access it throughout the challenge. 

Choose the delivery method that works best for your classroom! 

You can send Learning Link videos through Learning Link emails (includes family engagement tracking) or share QR codes using any communication platform, including ClassDojo, Seesaw, Remind, email, text message, and newsletters. Follow the instructions for your preferred option below.

Option A: Learning Link Emails 

  1. Prepare for the challenge:
  • If your student list on the Connected Class website is not set up, you will need to go to the “Manage Student List” tab in Learning Link. You can download the Sample CSV file to create your list, then save the list as a .csv file, and import it. If you need assistance, you can also submit your list to our team at support@connectedclass.com. For additional help, watch this video: How to Set Up Your Student List.
  • Schedule the Learning Link videos shown below in steps 4-7 to go out on the first school day of each week. Here is a video to show you How to Select and Send Learning Links, or you can reach out to support@connectedclass.com and have one of our team members schedule for you.
  1. Send parent letter and log to your students’ families.
  2. Give the Pretest (Division to 10 or Division) and record scores.

4. PLAY WEEK ONE VIDEO:
Rock, Paper, Scissors Multiply.

5. PLAY WEEK TWO VIDEO:
Target Factor.

6. PLAY WEEK THREE VIDEO:
Target Dividend

7. PLAY WEEK FOUR VIDEO:
Target Divisor.

Division Cards

  1. Give the Posttest (Division to 10 or Division).
  2. Record students’ scores and send to support@connectedclass.com.

Option B: Share Learning Link QR Codes

  1. Prepare for the challenge:
  • Please note, you do not need to set up a class list on the Connected Class website to use the QR Code-only option.
  • Download the QR code packet for this challenge. Each QR code links directly to that week’s Learning Link video.
  • Save the QR codes to your computer or print them for easy access throughout the challenge.
  • If you need assistance or have any questions throughout the challenge, contact support@connectedclass.com.
  1. Plan how to share your QR codes.

Share the QR code with families using your preferred communication platform, such as:

  • Email
  • Text message
  • ClassDojo
  • Seesaw
  • Remind
  • Google Classroom
  • Printed newsletter or handout
  • Any other family communication tool

Families can simply scan the QR code with their phone or tablet camera to watch the Learning Link video.
